We Have Heart

A very special
NHS Victory Celebration
was held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. Many 2006 year successes
were celebrated together as NHS Board and Staff met over lunch. A
hearty welcome was given to new Board Member, Jerry Cook. Terry
announced the election of Tom Harvey to the NHS Fundraising
Committee. The Viola tornado house repairs are close to an end with
only 2 houses to paint and 1 chimney repair to be completed during
appropriate weather. NHS helped 15 more homebuyers purchase homes
than in 2005, 23 more individuals went through the Home Buyer
Education Seminar, and twice the number of individuals were counseled
in 2006 than in 2007.
